The Auto Enrolment Retirement Savings System Act 2024 was signed into law by the President on the 9th of July 2024.
The Act provides for the setting up of the National Automatic Enrolment Retirement Savings Authority (NAERSA) which is tasked with launching the Auto Enrolment Scheme, to be known as
“My Future Fund”. While the commencement date was expected to be from the end of September 2025, the government have now confirmed a start date of January 2026.
